Felt polishing is used as the last step in achieving maximum shine (along with polishing powder - hull or polishing paste BELLINZONI). In addition to more types of gripping "slug", threaded M14 as Fickert or separately.
M14 - classic thread for common angle grinders. Fixed threaded fitting makes it harder to work in edges, corners, recesses (it has more side pressure than SF)

The rounded shape of the rim edges allows polishing in the joints (eg cut out on the kitchen sink), polishing grooves and shaped surfaces.
